Palace Guard International was founded by author and security specialist Rev. Paul A. Barratt, in order to fulfill the growing need to protect Religous Leaders, Business Professionals and Private Citizens. With over a decade of in-depth study, training, and the actual use and implementation of techniques, Paul has expanded the mission of the Palace Guard International to include Security Consulting and Security Seminars to both the secular and religous communities worldwide.

After overseeing the security department of a church in Rochester, New York for six years. The task comprised of protecting the senior pastor from assault, embarrassment and intentional disturbances during service times, other priorities consisted of overseeing the safety and security of the facility.

The mission now, is to not only bring this knowledge to other Houses of Worship, Business Professionals and the General Public. Any prominent figure gaining wealth, notoriety and an opinion become the target of radicals.

Paul received training in Executive Protection from the R.L. Oatman School in Towson, Maryland. This training coupled with many years of experience working along side ministers from around the nation greatly advanced his security knowledge to provide the needed protection for business and ministry individuals.

His passion to see people safe and secure required the writing of a security manual, The Palace Guard. A basic approach to safety and security in the church, outlining areas of concern such as Protecting the Minister, Property Evaluation, Special Event Security and much more.
